Co-Director, Level Designer, Art Lead

USC 489 Project

Game created over a span of 9-10 Weeks, consisting of 1 Engineer/Designer (Ian Stolte) & 1 Artist/Designer (Gilbert Liu), and a Audio team & Director (Roberto V. Quispe) from Berklee College.

Play as two crash-landed astronauts on an alien world, using its strange lifeforms to survive as you climb through a massive ravine in the planet’s center. Open-world survival meets co-op climbing in a beautiful-but-deadly environment.

 

My Responsibilities included: 
-Co-Directing the game alongside Ian Stolte
-Co-Created vision for game concept, and gameplay
-Communicated with Audio Director & team on the audio direction of the game
-Established Art Style, Direction, & Concepts for all 3 levels and environments
-3D Modeled rocks, lifeforms, plants, players, hardsurfaces, space assets.
-Iterated level design & art through continuous playtesting and feedback
